After many heartrending months during which various wags of our acquaintance have pledged their incandescent wits to generating splendid and worthwhile guest contributions to our cause, we finally have some guest contributions! (see below) Whilst the first isn't strictly a poem, the second most certainly is, and is a work of considerable acuity (and not inconsiderable brevity). I hope that this is the kick-start that you all needed to stop working so conscientiously and actually create something for the vague interest and amusement of our reading masses... COME ON PEOPLE, GET GOOFING!
Think you can do better? Although we're reluctant to be shown up, we will more than happily accept your submissions and consider them for inclusion. Don't be intimidated folks, stop talking a good game and put your poems where your mouths are!
